Can I customize the ‘look and feel’ of my blog?

Yes, absolutely! We have installed multiple methods of getting you started in choosing a theme and customizing it. Fernieblogs.com uses the WordPress MU blogging engine and has installed several free templates - once logged in as an admin choose a template under the “Presentation� tab. If you find a WordPress theme that is licensed under GPL license or similar (use is free with credit), feel free to recommend it to us and we will check it out and consider installing it.

How do I customize my blog?

There are several templates provided free of charge by several designers that are installed on Fernieblogs.com and ready for use on your new blog. Furthermore, we have installed a plugin (by Jason Ling) which allows you to customize any of those installed templates images and CSS rules! Once logged in to your blogs admin section select “Template Customizer� under the “Presentation� tab. This customizer allows you to do some pretty advanced customizations, so if you mess up your blog there is always the “Reset Options� button.

Can you get me started on customizing my blog?

Yes. The K2 theme has the ability to upload your own header image and lots of flexibilty and advanced features. If you want a custom header image on your blog or you need some more advanced help feel free to contact us and we’ll see what we can do.

What happened to my theme? It disappeared.

When you select a theme and alter it using the advanced features under the “Presentation� tab, and then select another theme, your customized options are trashed. That’s just the way it works!
